RingCentral Desktop APP rings before RingCentral softphone

Is there any particular setting or way in which I my RingCentral Web App rings instead of softphone while placing outbound calls through RingOut feature? @Mary-Community_Moderator

Hello @Akshata Phald, there is no option for this. The web version and the installed app functions the same.

@Mary-Community_Moderator Thank you for the quick response , so through ringout api I cannot place call to my RC desktop app directly right?

RC softphone should always be installed to place ringout calls even if placing it via Desktop app, is my understanding correct?
