Can incoming calls be received at the desktop phone as well as by RingCentral for Desktop (softphone) ?

1) We are using your Softphone to launch our callerId executable on an incoming call.

2) We also have a hard phone on the desk.

What is the best way to still get the Softphone to launch our CallerID while still allowing the user to answer the Hard Phone when the call comes in? We need both running at once to summarize.
