Having issues trying to get recordings, getting a 422 error, Unprocessable Entity.

We have a service that downloads recordings once a call has been completed. We download the recordings based on the provided URL from the call log. Starting at about 1:30 am CDT most of our attempts are getting a 422 error when we try and access that recording URL.

This is a .net Windows service that is calling the RC API to get the call logs and then using the RC provided URL to download the recording content.

Hey Ralph,

Did you have this operating as expected previously, and this situation just started at 1:30am CDT?

Could you please provide a failure request/response set (complete with headers, sans API keys or sensitive data) please?

Benjamin,

Yes, this service has been operating successfully for about 2 months.

We do not log the request or responses currently for this service, but there shouldn't be much to the request other than the header including the token and sending to the provided URL from the call log, e.g.  https://media.ringcentral.com:443/restapi/v1.0/account/<account #>/recording/<recording id>/content.

The response that we are getting is a WebException, the message that we are logging is:
(422) Unprocessable Entity. System.Net.WebException System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (422) Unprocessable Entity.

We have found the issue with some of the servers where recordings are stored. Expect it to be fixed by tomorrow.
