Hey there all,
I recently provisioned and set up a number of Polycom VVX 411 phones here at our office. We are also using the Polycom Color Expansion Module (or sidecar) to more easily transfer calls to other phones in our system. With our previous provider, the BLF aspect of the sidecar was active and would allow of us to see when other phones were currently on a call.
However, once we transferred to RingCentral, this feature does not seem to be working as it should. The extensions still show up properly on the sidecar, but it does not seem to be utilizing the BLF aspect, as the keys do not light up when one of said extensions answers a call. I have added all our phones into the same ring group, so all incoming calls can be answered by any of our employees, but the BLF keys are not lighting up nonetheless.
Does anyone have an idea on how to activate the BLF function of the line keys? Any assistance or suggestions with this issue would be most appreciated.
