I have a user that has a Cisco 8851 with a side car. She's trying to program it with user extensions for our business, but having no luck. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi Marc, may I know what is the model of your sidecar?
I'm not quite sure. It's the one that comes with the Cisco CP 8851.
Here's a video tutorial link on how to setup the HUD of the phone.

Hi @Marc Hughes - did you get this one sorted?
They can do it under the "My Extension" settings in the web portal.
You don't get to set each button position, you just fill it up in order, and they will be spanned out across the remaining phone buttons and then overflow onto the side car.
You need to make sure the permissions are set so the users can be monitored.
I set it to allow pickup of a monitored ringing line (this is what most people expect out of a BLF)
I don't set it to ring my phone for monitored calls though (that would be overwhelming, you will see them flash anyway)
You can also set them up with templates if you are rolling out a few.
Cheers,
Tim
