Change site for a phone number in multi site setup

In our Multi Site instance.... all phone numbers are assigned to Site = Company.

I don't see any options to change the Site assignment for a phone number.

Hi! You are not allowed to change the Site of a phone number, but you can change the Site of the user extension where that number is assigned.


On the Admin Portal, Go to Users > Select the Extension > User Details > Settings & Permissions > Click Edit under Site > Select the new site > Save.

What if the phone number is assigned to Auto Attendant ???

Phone System > Phone Numbers > All numbers > click on the number

Assign to Extension > (Filter by Sites) > select the site
