Incoming Fax problems

Faxes have been received with notice saying 1 or more pages have errors. In some cases only a tiny portion the the page came through and all the rest is cut off. This was happening occasionally before, but this week it has happened to most of the faxes coming from 3 separate sources. These senders have successfully sent faxes to all other numbers except for mine. What can be the issue?

Did you ever get an answer or a resolution to this? I just set up a fax line here and I am having the same problems with ALL of my incoming faxes.

No I didn't.  They said they couldn't help me  because I didn't have 3 examples of the problem.  They needed samples from 3 different fax numbers and I only had 2 people with problems, and only one that was currently happening.  They suggested I ask the faxing party to make sure they had a low baud or speed rate, which I did.  It didn't help.  Ring Central was convinced the difficulty was not at our end.  I'm not so sure as I've run into this over the years from several different fax numbers, but  the people just keep trying or give up and mail.  I hadn't complained before but it was getting very annoying.  Good luck!

I have been experiencing the same problem from one client.  They have to attempt sending multiple times, only partial pages show up.  They have had new phone lines installed, purchased a new fax maching and still this happens.  Some days they can fax me fine.  I'm wondering if the time  of day has anything to do with it.  Ringcentral just tells me it's at their end, no other help offered.
This has been going on for months.  Fortunately this client is very patient.

I only have one client that still uses it to fax me, and we still have the problem on a pretty regular basis -- in a given day, 3 separate faxes might come through, then their 4th fax needs about 5 attempts.  I changed my dedicated fax line from Vonage to Comcast and most clients use that now.  I'll give up the Ringcentral at some point, because they didn't seem that interested in helping me figure this out.   We tried changing all sorts of settings at both ends, but sometimes the faxed information just gets lost in transmission.  Very frustrating!

My client just attempted 6 more times this morning and the fax transmission failed.  I'm an accounting office and cannot continue to deal with this.  I have to find another fax provider immediately.
