Is there a way for the softphoen to forward directly to voicemail after a set # of rings? Or does it have to forward to a different phone #?

I only use the softphone, and when I get calls during business hours and I don't pick up, it will just keep ringing (as that is my hold "music") and not go to voice mail unless i specifically flip it to voice mail.  That sounds great, but when I am on the phone with a client  I am paying attention to THEM and not my computer screen.  Or if I go to the bathroom i can't forward it.  (or any other reason I am away from my desk).  I'd prefer not to have it forward to my cell phone as I travel a lot and want to keep the calls in the Ring Central App.

If you want to remove the call forwarding to a different phone# before it goes to voice mail. You could remove the call forwarding from the softphone. Open the program click on menu (upper left corner). Click on options. On the left side click on "Forwarding Numbers" then remove any numbers on the field. after removing the numbers click on ok and it should go straight to voicemail if you dont answer on the soft phone.
