My call logs are not showing in the new desktop app.

My call logs are not showing in the new desktop app. According to the tech support rep I talked to this feature is not available. Is this true? Why will you have a phone that don't have a call log? How will you know if you missed a call? This phone system/app upgrade is not really an upgrade but a downgrade on Ringcentral service.

Hello LL, 

Can you tell me what version you have installed?  I don't believe this feature was removed.  There should be a row of icons at the top of the desktop app.  If you click the one that looks like a small clock, it should display your calls. There should be a separate tab for "All" and "Missed" calls.

OK, spent hours on support with this and they came to the same conclusion.  I was not content to give up as this seemed stupid.  I found a simple solution and it does work as most people would want, you just need to know how to do it.  With that said this only works for BLIND TRANSFER but it a start.

While on a call that you want to BLIND TRANSFER simply hit the HOME BUTTON and the PRESENCE screen will pop up.  Just tap the person to transfer to.  DONE.

This info needs to be shared with support and added to your documents on how to transfer a call.  


Would be nice if they expanded this so when you tap a persons name it popped up a few choices.  VOICEMAIL, CONSULTIVE, CONFERENCE.  But it is a start.  Maybe Press and HOLD.
