Admin: How do I swap out a phone?

Question: How do I swap out a device with another unassigned phone that is already on the account without changing the number? 

Answer: Go to Phones & Devices. Find the user and select " Change Phone".  

                                         






Finally, reboot the phone.
change phoneswap phone

When I try the above method, I don't see the "Unassigned Phones" list.  All I see is the "User Phones" list.  I definitely have an unassigned phone in the account.  Not sure what to do.

When you search for the SN that you want, is it on the account?

I'm not sure I follow you, as there is no search option in the "Change Phone" area.  Here's a couple of screenshots showing what I see.  Note:  I have received and unpacked the unassigned phone.

The devices still says " check status" so the system still thinks it is in  shipping. The first thing you want to do after receiving a newly ordered phone is to plug it in so it can register with our system! :-) Once it comes online, refresh the web browser and the option should show up.  Try that and you should be able to swap out the devices!
