Years of smooth call forwarding shot to hell

Calls arbitrarily going to vm , or ringing, or passed off to 2nd sequence phone.
Years of smooth call forwarding (sequencial) in both USA and Canada with a number of cell providers.  

2 weeks ago, lost fax ability (send and receive), then lost sms capability.  Noticed light call volume and sure enough, calls being routed to vm with no signal being sent to my 1st call forwarding number (t mobile).  with 2nd phone added in testing both ringing in sequence and simultaneously it would skip tmobile (1st phone) and go to 2nd.

did a factrory reset on 1st phone (t mobile) and hoped it would fix. not.

bought another phone (not tmobile) and it works changing nothing but number.

Ring central has been dancing around this as its intermittent and seems to make no sense.

now sms back, and fax (1 day only so we will see), but the % of calls working as it should is down considerably and .....


I am so tired / disappointed and frustrated as rc seems to have little to no interest in this.  Not a lot of effort in fixing.

Ring by name may be getting a call from me soon.

If anyone has any ideas, suggestions, clues, etc.  I would be most interested in hearing them as I am at the end of my rope here.

Hello.  I'm sorry to hear about all the issues recently.  I understand you're frustrated and I'll see what I can do to help.   

  • Do you have a case number from within the last 2 weeks from when you reported these issues that I can look into and do more investigating?  
  • Have you had any changes on your network (router, switches, ISP, etc)?

Hi Kim,
No changes on my side - same phone, etc.  .  However, once I discovered faxing was not working, it slowly slid to the point we are at now.  At one point, no faxes, no sms, and all calls bypassing 1st phone in queue. 

2 minutes ago, it worked as it should have. call iin at 7:09 to the first phone in queue.  then at 7:14 it bypassed the 1st phone in queue and rang the second.  real arbitrary.  call waiting is active on the phone.

do you have the ability to tell where the calls are being connected to?

Call waiting does not apply to call queues.  Call queue calls will ONLY ring available users.  So if the users is on another call, outside of hours, or on DND it will skip that user.

Not on the app.  so the cell phone call waiting kicks in and notifies of a call
