Mobile app keeps ringing

Two of our users are having issues with their iPhone app, the calls are forwarded to their cell phone numbers but when an incoming call is entering, they answer with the cell phone but the app keep ringing in the background...

Can you tell us what version of the mobile app and OS they are using?

I think I had the same problem you are having but want to verify it is the same thing.  Are you saying that the user has both the Call handling ringing their cell phone and using their APP on the iPhone?  If that's the case, they need to do one or the other; either use their APP to answer calls and not forward their calls to their cell phone, or forward their calls to their cell phone and turn off the APP.

First important thing that needs to be considered is there some users that are not tech savvy... so closing apps, openings apps, adjusting settings, simple things that should be pretty easy for most of us, for them is not always simple. So we need to keep simple as possible: what we are doing because the lack of the right handle by iPhone, we are forwarding all the RC calls into their cell phone numbers, "but" they want to keep using the mobile app for internal calls, calling extensions from the app. A couple of users were complaining because the app didn't stop when they answer the transferred call into their cell phone numbers, the RC app was still ringing in the background. So what I made is disabling the Notification for the calls into the softphone and it seems is working fine now...
