Problem with Phone quality on Ringcentral app

When people call me through my Ringcentral app, they tell me that it sounds like i am in a tunnel far away or something. I tried to make audio adjustments on my phone but it has not worked. What could be causing this and how can it fix it?

When you say "APP" is that on smartphone?  And are you using the cellular network or a wireless connection?

Correct, when you log into the Softphone you do  not want to log in with main number + extension number.  Please login with your Direct Digital Line number. :-)

That's helpful. What do folks use the main number for? I am just a simple situation: a central business location where I would use VOIP (no cell access) and destination points where I do have cell access. Trying to figure out the simplest setup...

Sorry, Yes I mean on my cell phone, which is an Android. When i am at work and at home i use a WiFi. When i am on the go I use my cellular network. And i have had the same issue both ways. I didn't think a the internet connection could make me sound so distant.

I've had this issue before, but it was usually a result of a weak wifi connection or low internet speed. You can check your speed on both your home and work connection using an app like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.zwanoo.android.speedtest&hl=en
