Desktop App (UK & Canada)- Can't Login after 8.0 update (Login Error)

Just updated the desktop app from 7.x to 8.x, now can't login. Getting following message: "Login failed: Unfortunately, the application cannot be used due to the restriction on the account level. Please contact your account administrator to enable this permission." I have no idea what this is. Everything was working fine before the update. We are in Canada, if that means anything.

For what it's worth, I upgraded to 8.0 today without any issues. Win7 Professional 32 bit OS.

This was only for UK and Canad customers. 
Please uninstall the 8.0 and re-install the prior version until this issue is resolved.

Please let me know if that resolves the issue. :-) 

Also, note that Windows 10 is still in beta

I'm having the exact same issue.  It's frustrating as this is not the first time Ring Central upgrades have failed to function properly.  Why aren't they better tested before being released? It's unprofessional and a waste of your customers time.

I cannot get the update to install at all. I select that button and then the app quits and nothing updates.
