Messages & Notifications: Individual voicemails for each phone number under one user

Each user on our ring central account is associated with a different business in the office. We have multiple numbers that ring one user, and it would be great if each of those numbers could have a unique voicemail. If this was set up, a customer could call the main line, the sales rep would be able to answer the call but if he missed it, it would go to the company voicemail. Likewise, if someone called the main line and wanted to leave a message with the sales rep, I would be able to transfer them to his individual voicemail (associated as a number under the user) instead of the company voicemail. Please keep me posted on if this is a reasonable request, expected completion, etc. Thanks for your help!

My first thought is you might be able to create a call queue for each user and direct the numbers to the queues.  Then you could direct the numbers to them and if they don't answer each could have a unique voicemail (and be copied or emailed wherever you like).  Does that seem workable?

There are probably several ways this could be done with presence, advanced rules, and as Brandon mentioned call queues. 

Another idea might be....

Suppose John Doe has two numbers. Maybe create two separate users John1 and John2 so that each user has one number, then use the Presence feature to answer the other line as discuss on this thread:   Presence: How can I answer another users call with presence?

You could also achieve this with virtual users.  You create a user without a phone, and have the number direct to that user.  In call handling and settings you can set the phone that rings, and you will have control over email notifications and message delivery for each number.

It took a little bit of time to figure out how to do it without paying to add a phone or a phone number, but I successfully got voicemails set up for everyone at each company by adding virtual users. Thanks for you help!
