Light flashing on line for my line on coworkers phones

My line is flashing red, like I have someone on hold, on my coworkers phones? We've tried resetting them, resetting mine. Still flashing. Any idea why?

Yikes! No help! Driving coworkers crazy. They cannot hit my extension on their phone to call or transfer calls to me.

Hey Megan,

Looks like you are the system mailbox extension on your account. Basically, your extension handles all calls on the back end. This makes presence go crazy on phones.

It is a pretty easy fix. We just need to create you a new extension. You will keep the same Ext. number and same phone number. You will just need to re-enter your email and you will need to have everyone update their presence buttons once it is done.

Open a support ticket and tell them your presence issue and that you were told that you need to have yourself take off the system mailbox extension.

Hi - this problem still has not been resolved for me. I've talked with Ring Central multiple times and they've told me everything from I need to create a new extension for myself, which I did, to they are having a nationwide presence outage - however, weeks later, it still has not been resolved. This problem is leaving features that our company depends on, useless. Any ideas, anyone?

Hi Megan,  Sorry for the delay on this one.  I took another look at your case and it does seem to be a product defect Your case has been escalated so when a fix is completed, you'll get a notification.
