Automatically assign an outbound caller ID based on Location you are calling?

Hi there,

I am hoping someone can help with this.

I have purchased a number of phone numbers from Ring Central (different area codes for across the country) (Country is Canada).

What I am looking to have done is when my staff are calling people in other locations (say a 403 area code for example) to have our caller ID show as our 403 area code phone number we purchased automatically. If we are calling a 604 number for example, to have our 604 number displayed.

I know this is not a feature that is currently available, but how would one go about having this custom coded through an API to work? We already own all of the numbers we want to use, however manually selecting them for each call is not an option.

Hi Mike,

I have seen that article before....I am more so hoping to get in touch with developer that can implement this for me ASAP. If anyone can be of assistance that would be great.

Customer receives a lot of SMS. When they dial out they want the app to automatically adjust their caller ID based on the sender's caller ID that they sent the SMS from (customer is log in on an extension with multiple DLs and DIDs)


Benefit of such feature: They don't need to manually changed the caller id based on what
