Adapter/splitter to connect two USB headsets for training

Is there a way to connect two different USB headsets through an adapter or splitter so that a supervisor can train another call center employee using a RingCentral softphone.

We use a variety of USB headsets, but mostly Plantronics of different models. This would be hugely helpful if we could monitor calls while training staff.

Yes.  It's actually a product sold through head set manufacturers.  They are referred to as "
Y Adapters".  Ask lots of questions and make sure they provide you with the correct adapter -- Caveat emptor!!!!  Below is one example.
