Sound settings - Speaker set as Same as System, but not actually using the same audio as system
I have Jabra speakers which are set as my system speakers. For example, if I listen to a youtube video, it plays through the speakers. In the sound settings in ringcentral, I have Same as System selected for the speaker, but it is not selecting the Jabra speaker, rather it is playing through my laptop. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
When I click the Jabra option, if I answer on my headset, it will not transfer over. I would have to go into the ringcentral settings and change it each time. The way the computer works is the system first selects the headset if it is in range, then selects the Jabra speakers. But ringcentral does not recognize the system settings.
Thank you for the clarification. At this time our system does not support this type of configuration - that is computer specific and our desktop app would not be able to pick up on it. I spoke with our Product team and the support of Jabra devices is not on our roadmap yet, either.
