iOS11 on Apple iPhone 8 plus - messages drop down not working

Problem with the Message drop down arrow.
I cannot get the drop down arrow to move from  "Text"  to "Voice"  or to "All"
in the drop down list (Blue Menu Bar at top of screen)
New Apple iPhone 8 Plus  running iOS 11
using Ring Central app on existing Ring Central Business Phones.

All other Navigation features work in the top Menu Bar including My Profile and "More"

AAAh  - it seems to be a "location touch screen issue.... and my fingertip"    The touch has to be right on top of the down-arrow or to the right of arrow slightly - and not on the word "Text"  to activate the dropdown menu.

I would suggest enlarging the "touch area that will activate the drop down menu"  to include the word itself:   TEXT  or  VOICEMAIL  or  ALL    and not just the down arrow  alone.
  Since it really is a very small arrow to touch easily to get the dropdown menu.
