Will the "Call Waiting" feature be added in the iOS app soon?

When I'm on a call on the mobile app, I would like to have the ability put the current caller on hold and answer another incoming call, just like on my cell phone and desktop app. Why is that basic functionality not available on the mobile app?

The app is currently on version 9.3.1 and it STILL hasn't been integrated. Our company NEEDS this feature. Please... It's absolutely necessary. And it's absurd that the app on Android has the feature and not on iOS. There should be equality. 

Btw, absolutely ridiculous the "1000 requests queued" policy. If you need more requests, here's one more to add to the thousands...

Currently we do not have this feature planned. I completely relate to you, I use the RingCentral app on my iPhone every day, and I would love for this feature to be implemented. We crave unity in all our products, we try to ensure you can conduct your business on almost any device and through any type of media.

I am not a developer, but I would say it's likely that this is a technical limitation to Apple's CallKit implementation in iOS. CallKit is what companies like RingCentral must use in order to have native calling on your Apple device. CallKit was only released around a year ago so it is very young and does not have all the options that Android has, as Google implemented native calling much earlier than Apple. I did a little searching online and it seems like other developers have run into the same issue, they cannot implement call waiting tones or information on display on iOS.

Add "Call Waiting" as a feature for the Mobile App, right now this is the best place to vote and express your desire for this feature so that we can implement it when this is possible and understand the impact to our users.

At the risk of being accused of "accomplishing nothing" by repeating this information, may I just inform that Vonage has this feature working on the IOS mobile app.
