Call receiving seems clunky now

when people dial my extension or i am set to get get calls in the field all calls are set directly to my extension. ive started to notice since glip has a phone feature, now my cell app will not ring sometimes or by the time i go to answer the call is gone. anyone else seem to have an issue with the glip app getting in the way of getting calls on the RC mobile app?

When you opened Glip did you see a message about choosing the default app for incoming calls?  Which did you choose?

under my profile settings in glip mobile app, i have my "answer calls" set to RC mobile app. when people are dialing me they are not using the glip app to dial, theyre using either cell phones or outside of office devices, or calling from an internal deskset, never the glip app's phone section

I've had no issues here.

i figured having it set to my RC app was the best choice, does it need to be set to the "answer calls in glip app" ??

It should be your choice..  I also chose the RC app and have not noticed an issue.  If it happens to you fairly often you are in a good position to troubleshoot though.  You could try changing it for a while to incoming calls to Glip and maybe try deleting the Glip app off your phone for a while to see if you can narrow it down.

yeah kind of what i thought, yeah i can delete the app, makes it harder to schedule my work day, but hey, dont have a schedule to make if im missing calls. ill give it a shot hopefully its a simple fix

switched between "accept in glip" and "accept in RC mobile", seems to be ringing ok so far, not sure why i was having the issue, maybe just a cell reception thing and i just didnt notice?
