Fax Reliability

Any word if the inbound faxing is more reliable ? Last check, there was about an 82% success rate) Note: This conversation was created from a reply on: I have about 35 scattered site property management offices....

Hey Nic,

There is a lot that goes into whether or not a fax is received/sent. VoIP faxing (digital) is different than a traditional fax (analog). If a fax is coming from/going to an analog device, there can be some hiccups that occur since you are taking a digital signal and converting it to an analog signal. The capability of the analog fax machine also affects the success of a fax. These are some of the reasons we can only give a certain number for success rate. Some companies never have issues and some have a few here and there. Your network set up also can affect things - to give you some background.
