We are having our phones reboot during business hours. At 10a EST today I was preparing to make a call. As I was looking at my VVX410 a message appeared and said "Reboot Initiated" and my phone preceded to reboot itself. This is a pattern that we see all the time from RingCentral. I've asked the rep to help me understand how to allow me to control these reboots. No answers. That's very odd behavior. When we push firmware updates, it's usually during off-hours as to not impede upon our customer's workday. Can you please provide more details? Did this happen to only your phone or other's as well? Was there a power or internet surge during the time of reboot? How many times has this happened? Are you the Super Admin on the account?
Yes, I'm Super Admin. We have 244 Users across US and Netherlands.
This happened to about 20 folks yesterday. We went to switches yesterday to verify. No dropped power on ports. If lose power the phone acts differently. The message I received was as if a command had been sent to it and then it rebooted. This happens to us with each new release. I've been complaining about this since 2014.
