Caller ID for secondary numbers?

i have a customer who has multiple offices under their RC account. I have advanced call rules set to send the 2nd,3rd,4th office main numbers to a certain extension. The users in the extension are set to send out that offices number as caller ID. They are saying that there is no caller ID name being displayed. Doesn't the company info tab apply to all numbers that make outbound calls? if not, how do I get caller ID to be displayed if I test and it is indeed not displaying correctly.

Hi Chris,

We have tested this on our end and we are not experiencing the same issues. We would suggest opening a case so that we can see what is going on and investigate further.

so where do i set my caller ID for my secondary lines?

Hey Chris,

When I tested this I did the following:

Using the softphone I logged in as a User on my Test Account and listed the Main Company Number as that extension's Outbound Caller ID. I then called Jared's cell phone and he said the Company Name showed up correctly.

Did we possibly test your scenario incorrectly?

yeah, the company has multiple main numbers, when the users associated with that number call out, they should be able to choose that number as am outbound caller ID.

So I used the main number, not any of the other Company Numbers. Let me try that out in a little bit and I'll get back to you :)

tried to open a case. this would the 2nd time i never got notified i opened a case or got a case number or anything to know my information had gone through. last time i ended up troubleshooting my issue myself and figured it out. if thats the case again......
