2018-06-29 F Y I - though Netgear's outdated router as you mentioned above is on the approved list for use with RingCentral, I want to warn you they have no router support services - so you are on your own if you purchase any Netgear router to use with your phone system. They have a support forum that you can login to and look things up, but they do not have much there and that is the extent of their support.
You get what you pay for, and you will ultimately save money, time, and aggravation, by purchasing a recommended router that is currently in production, and currently given actual support by the manufacturer. Due diligence pays off, do more research. The Sonicwall SOHO Router is rock solid and easy to manage and configure. They are available from SonicWall now directly, and via other Vendors like Amazon, New Egg etc. as they spun off from Dell not that long ago. They do have a top notch support organization and will walk you through every step of the way.
Thank you for your reply. It is not exactly what I was looking for but... My point is that the recommended routers page seems outdated. Does anyone have an updated version or updated list. Specifically the ring central engineers.
