Events being deleted from the Calender

I have entered multiple events in the calendar for the current month & future months.  They were entered weeks ago, and today, I just noticed they were all deleted and I had to re-enter.  Is there a system glitch that we can only enter so many days in advance? Why would they suddenly be gone.  No one has deleted them, this has happened to more than one co-worker in my office.

Hey Virginia, I would suggest either opening a case (if you are also a RingCentral customer) or you can email our Glip Support Team at support@glip.com so we can investigate what's going on.

Hey Shelly, I was told that this occurrence is most likely due to the account having some sort of data retention/HIPAA policy enabled. Meaning, that if your data retention policy is set for 30 days but your calendar event is 60 days from now, the event would no longer be present after 30 days from its creation. You should not have this occur if you have do not have this setting enabled.

I am not sure about any type of safeguard for calendar back up. I would suggest emailing our Glip team - support@glip.com and asking if they have any solutions for you.

i do not know where you found this.  I am an admin and the only thing I see is under tools in Ring Central called HIPAA setting. It is not checked for me.  I have not been losing dates in my calendar, but was worried there was a glitch that was causing this.  We use Glip Calendar for all our events and if this were to be deleted it would not be good for us.  Is there a safeguard where calendar is backed up?

Is there a way to set the HIPPA date retention to greater than 30 days??
