custom rule error - Forwarding phone number cannot be the same as your account number

I would like to set a custom rule where calls from a specific number / caller ID always go to voicemail.

Whenever I set this rule up, after clicking "save", I get an error message

"Forwarding phone number cannot be the same as your account number or any additional numbers. Please go to Call Handling and Forwarding and remove the number ( my office number xxx-xxx-xxxx)"

 I'm not clear what is going on here or how to fix it.

you could create a messages only extension and direct the call to that.
