Improved formatting of URLS in RingCentral (Glip)

Within a Glip chat or team, I would love to be able to add some text with a link behind it: like so.


We use Glip for all internal communication in our business and I often find when I'm writing a longer post, that a long URL breaks up the flow and means that people don't always see or read everything.

Hi Ashley,

Happy new year! Thanks for writing us.

You can do this in Glip using this formula:
write a message then [give a link title](copy and paste link here) then keep writing your message.

Be sure to dismiss the link preview if you desire to save post space by clicking the X top right of the preview.


I made a little video recording showing how to do it here so it's easy for ya.

That's great, thank you Ted! I asked on your livechat as I was sure I'd seen it before, but couldn't find it in your Knowledgebase.
