Mobile Numbers as outbound ID

UK, Motor Finance, It would be good if Mobile numbers could be assigned to outbound calls - This would increase the possibility of making contact with relevant parties when calling their mobile. We base most of our communication on Mobile numbers as the primary contact number and as such most people are likely to answer a mobile number when on caller ID than a Land line.

In the desktop app go to
Settings > Phone > Default Caller ID

You can choose from numbers which are available on your account.
If your mobile number is not on your RingCentral account, contact support and ask about Substitute Caller ID process. You want this because afaik RingCentral doesn't port mobile numbers. See relevant articles:

Hey, sorry about that Scott, I posted the instructions for the unified RingCentral app, not the phone desktop app. 

To update this on your phone desktop app, go to settings - calls - outgoing and change outbound caller ID.
