Outbound caller ID in Multi-site

We switched to the multi-site setting hoping that each user, in our case it's a different location, would be able to show unique ID when making the outbound calls. We were very disappointed when we learned that in order to accomplish it, the user need to have a virtual number, and not the digital one. It's not possible if you have a desktop phone and you want your phone to show your location number as well as your location name, and not the company name. Are we missing something here? We thought the whole idea of the multi-site version was to make every site customized.

Hello,

You'll need to set it on a user basis not on a site basis. To set the user's outbound caller ID in the users extension and if the user is using the softphone, you can change their caller id by going to Settings -> Calls -> Outgoing -> Outbound Caller ID .

If you're still experiencing issues after setting the caller id on the user level, please open a case with our tech support team.
