how to transfer calls to voicemail using MAX

Hello, my credit union recently switched over to RingCentral. I am a Tech specialist and was asked a question about voicemail. Currently, our contact center can not transfer calls straight to someone's voicemail. Is there a setting or policy I can change so they are able to?
