User was calling into a conference call (not his own or Ring Central's conference call bridge).  He was told to press *1 to join conference.  *1 is the FLIP feature on R.C.  So he flipped his own call to himself and got very confused.  He could not join the conference call.

There should be an 'escape' sequence, so that R.C. ignores the * code.  For instance, **1 would just send *1 to the remote system and be ignored by R.C.  Or #*1.

Another reason this is needed is if the user were to call into his home or mobile voicemail, he would probably need to use * codes.
