Hi Japs,

Yes you can do this, but it is a little convoluted, but our entire call centre does this on a daily basis.

1. Whilst on the active call click the transfer button
2. enter the number you want to transfer to, and click "Warm Transfer", the first call will now be on hold.
3. Once the second call is connected, you want to bring the hold call back into the loop. Click on the phone icon in the top right of the app, then both calls will appear... click the + icon on the hold call. It will now be a conference.
4. Once the handover has taken place, Click on the green "Active Call" notification in the app, which will take you back to the keypad, and the press "Complete Transfer"

Takes a bit of getting used to, but it works!

Cheers,

Bill

Bill,
Thanks for the explanation. This is what we were looking for for several weeks but were told that "warm hand-off" as you described was not available. Wish this was documented or Support knew of this.

Took me a while to figure it out, but where there is a will, there is a way! :)

Hi Japs, my colleague provided some guidance on the Bridge Operator Console for RingCentral and how we can handle these kinds of transfers with ease.

When would be a good time for us to talk?

Thanks!
