Multiple Extension Voicemails on a single phone. I am looking to switch from on premises Avaya to RC. I have multiple users who have a personal extension and also receive voicemails for a groups they are members of. On Avaya the users can access voicemails for every personal and the groups on their desk phones; without signing in or out. How can users retrieve voicemails from the desk phone for multiple extensions?

I wish I had a dollar for every time I have brought that to RC's attention over the last 4-5 years.

RC is a good company, but there are several features like this one that they just don't understand.  It is so simple.  I have outlined this with detailed examples, tried to get managers to bring this to the developers... but still not even an acknowledgement.

I hate to be a Debbie downer, but it frustrates me to no end that people keep asking for this 10 different ways and there is absolutely no comfort that the idea is even a good one.

I have to say that not all phone systems have that feature, but there are a few standouts that listen to their business users and give us the tools that we need.  This is not a luxury request, this is a basic feature that needs to be added.

I hope that someone finally gets it.  I want to reiterate that RC is one of the best companies, and I just came back to them once again because I am seeing good things again.  By far, I think they have the best customer service and implementation training.

Thank you Larry. For example in a medical practice when you have a single person answering multiple extensions and or groups need fast access to each voicemail. Logging in and out to retrieve the voicemail is a major fail on Ring Central’s part. I guess I need to look elsewhere.
Thank you again for the feedback.

We are in the same boat. I hate to lose RC as everything else has generally been fine, but this is CRITICAL for my business as we also have a single front desk receptionist and multiple agents need to retrieve these voice mails.

i dont think you can put it on more than one phone but you may be able to send it to separate email addresses this way more than 1 person gets the message. i too think this should be something that somehow can be added even if it came to the same inbox with a preface to it that said "the message is from another mailbox"

Hello Everyone,

I've flipped this to a Feature Request and also re-titled it :)

this thread just came back to the top of the board and made me think, that is a pretty basic feature even on samsung PBXs, a group mailbox that can be on multiple phones, is there ANY WAY a user can access the message from a phone? granted if you add the persons email to the mailbox they should get the attachment, but what about hearing it from the phone itself?

Just combine multiple extensions that user part of into one interface (MS Outlook like, that can have multiple email accounts)
