Add ability for host to release a caller from a conference call?

I had a successful conference call earlier today, but after it terminated one of the participants clearly left their line on hold instead of hanging up. Now, when I dial in there is someone else's hold music playing in the background. How can I terminate the call for all participants or kick that person off?

Hello Allan, I checked the commands for RingCentral conferencing and there are no commands for forcing users off the bridge. The closest I could find is the host entering *#3 which according to the information says, "Leave Conference: Lets the host hang up and end the call". I tested this and it only disconnects the host, the participant(s) are still connected. This would be a feature enhancement to the conference bridge.

I've converted this thread to a Feature Request so others can vote and comment.

Is there a workaround if this has not been addressed yet?
Please and thank you.

Hello Alain,

At this time there is no known workaround. I would suggest using RingCentral Meetings and have your participants dial in. You will have more control over participants.

would be cool to have full control of the meeting in that type of fashion. like as the host you would kind of have your own HUD to manage the meeting / call.
