I can't believe this is still not a working feature.  Maybe the could take some of the dev guys off the G-Suite integration team and lend them to the MS team where 90% of the world still lives!

Still don't work. On phone with rep, said it was working before new platform change. But it don't work now. Has anyone ever got this feature to work? They advertise it on their page.

  • Make calls directly from Microsoft Outlook—simply click to dial any phone number in your email message. Or you can dial directly by selecting a phone number from your contacts list.

Support is done working with me. Said it's a known issue. Said there wasn't any posts on the problem for me to follow. And that support will get back to me when the issue is resolved. The fact that their is a post and it's from 2 years ago lends me to believe that this is a feature that will never work. In which case any advertisement of the feature should come down. Support did say it worked prior to the most recent release (June). In which case it's a feature that has been broken for almost 4 months. But I actually doubt it worked then either. Either way the advertisement of the feature should come down. And if it doesn't let this set of posts be a warning to any new customers that would pay for service because they want that feature. As I did.

Hi JOHNSON, I followed up with the Support Agent who has your case and they're going to reach out to you! There is clearly something going on and we want to troubleshoot and remedy it.

Hi Saadet, I have 2x now received an email with the following message and link:

Hi there,
Please click this URL to start your RingCentral meeting: Travis Johnson's Personal Meeting Room, https://meetings.ringcentral.com/j/9876543218 as your participant Andrey Gnasevych is waiting.

Is this something that is coming from support, or some kind of spam?

Additionally, Your tech agent contacted me last week and we got disconnected (my fault) but I had no way of calling him back.

Hi JOHNSON, that's a pretty normal email to get when you have a Meeting set up. That email is a reminder that you scheduled a Meeting and it's letting you know people have joined.

If you ever get disconnected, don't hesitate to email through your case! Sorry the Support Agent didn't reach back out :(

Just spent time with tech and was told that the browser based click to call is working and that the outlook stand alone does not have click to call functionality yet.

Frustrated as I cannot use the web version for work...:(
