Adding Notifications When Call is Recieved or Forwarded

  2. A brief description of the business - ~350 user consultancy firm with users in multiple countries requiring support at all hours
  3. A high level description of the product or feature being requested - Would it be possible to add a feature so that you can recieved an email notification with the caller number when a call is recieved or forwarded? You currently have the same functionality when a call is missed but it would be really useful for us to have an email so that all members of the team can see that someone rang.
  4. A typical use case scenario explaining how your business would use the feature - as our ring central number is used for call forwarding we would like visibility via email when a member of staff rings the on call number
  5. Benefit of such feature - ability to easy see oversight of repeat callers and spikes in call volume
  6. Include any related case number if applicable - none
  7. Number of Users and/or Digital Lines - 10 users being forwarded to

While you are waiting I suggest checking into Zapier.  You may be able to create a simple "zap" based on RingCentral account credentials to send email/SMS/Slack/Glip, etc. notifications for every call received to a certain number.
