Call Handling: advanced RingGroups options

I have all calls forwarded to one extension, but after two rings I want to make another extension ring, while the first extension is still ringing. Then after 4 rings total, I want my main ring group to ring, which is everyone in the office including the first two extensions.

So it would be like this:

Ring X107, 2 rings

Ring X107 and X102, 2 rings

Ring all phones (ring group is X1000) as well as X107 and 102.

So essentially, 107 would always be ringing, 102 would always be ringing except for the very first 2 rings. After 4 rings total, all phones would ring (X1000)

Any ideas?

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Call Handling: Add users phone multiple times in the call handling so that it can....

  1. US
  2. Engineering firm
  3. When in call handling, would like to be able to add the users phone multiple times to add them to call groups.
  4. When the front desk is called the desk phone rings 3 times there, then would like to select the desk phone again and create a group of additional admins for 5 rings and then would like to add the front desk phone again and create another ring group that includes additional people.
  5. The person called originally can pick up the phone even when the call has been pushed to the next ring group because they are included all the way through sequence.
