After the setup of my new Polycom VVX 600 (3rd party purchased from Amazon) I cant' log back into the admin or user web interface of the phone any more. The default passwords have changed after the configuration by  Ringcentral.

Any one knows where I can find the password they assigned to my phone when I want to access it trough the web browser? I don't mean the Ringcentral account but the actual phone on my desk...

I want to be able to get into the phone so I can bulk upload my contacts for the speed dial as the contacts that I enter in my Ringcentral user account don't appear on this phone :-/

Was the phone purchased from RingCentral or is it a 3rd party phone?

I bough the VVX 600 trough Amazon.

I was able to log in before the setup but afterwards the password has been changed.

I have tried:

  • 456
  • 1234
  • admin  / Admin
  • password / Password
  • Ringcentral account password
  • no password (works for the user, not for admin!)

Turn out that the user access doesn't need a password at all.

To my disappointment I did not see a option to sync or upload the contacts to the phone. Unless this is possible to do this from a menu only visible to the admin.

Update:
I was using Safari under OSX.
Turns out I could log into the phone using Google Chrome.
No password required to enter the Admin account on the VVX 600
