Alert System Administrator of error or phone status if a phone goes offline

I need RingCentral to be able to automatically send me update or status alert (either sms, email, voice call) if one of our phone went offline. We are an assisted living and we need all our phones up and running all the time so if there is an emergency we know that any phone at our workplace would work. 

Last night, I just happen to check the phone statuses online and noticed that one of the phone is offline. I don't know how long was the phone was offline but if we had an emergency and someone made a 911 call they won't be able to use the phone.

This feature is very important for us. We have multiple buildings, each has one phone. If one phone went offline without me notifying the problem that could result in potential liability problem for us in the future.

We are a school district with 1900+ users on the RingCentral phones - this would be really effective for us, for the same reasons.  We have Pre-K and Kindergarten thru 12th grade in the daytime and Adult School at night in our facilities.   It is really difficult to know at a glance in the portal if phones really are online -  as apparently,  the ACTIVE button in the USERS list means the account has been activated, not that the device is online.   Requiring to LOGIN to the device settings to see if it is online is really a poor design aspect.  In that same USERS tab  they should display the last phone device registration timestamp for each user as well.  Since the ROLES column is blank in that tab - that could be where the timestamp displays instead.

As of this moment we do not have a way for notifications to be sent if a phone goes offline. We do however have a way to see at a glance if a phone is offline or not. If you go to Phone System>Phones and Devices. The red circle with a white x is offline, the green circle with a white check is online, and a black circle with a white arrow is order in progress. Since we do not have a way to be notified if a phone goes offline I will go ahead and vote on this feature request!

Going online everyday to check the status of all phones is not practical. If the phone goes offline right after I check the status of the phones, that would mean the phone is unusable until I check again. Please ringcentral add this as a feature.

Is there any update here? Is this information available via the API? Since the status exists in the RingCentral system, please let us know how to monitor phone status programmatically.
