Allow Internal-to-Internal Call Recording

Hello,

For those account which have the 'Automatic Call Recording' feature available to them, if one person has been administratively set such that all inbound and outbound calls should be recorded, then those rules should be followed for internal-to-internal calls as well. 

Currently, the auto-recording only engages if the person being called is set to auto-record, regardless of the caller's settings.  If there are concerns about privacy and legality, then perhaps a 3rd option of 'Inbound', 'Outbound', and 'Internal' calls can be added to the particular user's settings in the admin panel.

I don't disagree that this may be a good idea.  I just want to add that internal calls are a bit unique as that after they are established I am pretty sure all the audio packets go point to point and not through RingCentral where they could be recorded.  There are technically ways to force internal calls through RC to be recorded, but you can probably see that would not generally be desirable to to run a call through RC and back when calling between phones on your own local network.

Another thought is that you could purposely dial an internal users full DID number and essentially force it to act as an external call and be recorded.
