Desktop App: add ability to archiving messages in Ringcentral for Windows

In the mobile app, there is a sync function that allows you to refresh the message list so it is not affected by excessive text/fax/voice. I don't find this option in RC for Windows. As far as I can tell, you can only delete. I send over 200 text messages a day from my system. I like to keep them around for about 60 days, but I start experiencing quite a bit of lag sending text & fax when the list is getting deep.

Could it be my computer, or is this something within the application? In any event, it would be nice to have an archive choice within the app instead of just having the option to either delete or live with lag. Thanks.

Hello Randy,

I investigated your question today. The RingCentral for Windows does not have that resync option. Mainly because you have fast access to your messages inbox from your user account portal. It's more of a shortcut than anything else but at this time it does not provide for 'refreshing'. 

What you can try is to access your messages inbox and read through them and see if your 'All' updates in your desktop app. Try logging out of the desktop app and back in and see if it updates. My apologies that it does not have that feature.
