@RingCentralCare Are there plans to add CallKit Call Directory Extension to your iOS app? So that iPhone can lookup my RingCentral contacts.

My iPhone was ringing with a RingCental call that had been forwarded to it. I didn't have the number stored on my iPhone Contacts, but it was saved in my RingCentral Contacts. By developing a CallKit Call Directory Extension, I believe you could make my iPhone display the callers name from my RingCentral Contacts, even if I've not saved the number to my phone Contacts.

There's a good chance CallKit will be released in the next few weeks. I've been advised that "you can call anyone from iPhone contacts / favorites/ call log directly via RingCentral without launching RingCentral app".

We'll provide more details as information becomes available.

I am anxiously awaiting this feature as well... It will make ringcentral so much better for our team.

Just letting everyone following this thread that there is now some new CallKit functionality.  You can view these new articles for details.

Thanks Mike, great to see the other Call Kit features, but no sign of a Call Directory Extension re this thread's title?

Would be really useful for those that prefer not to use VoIP.

Once integrated I'd expect to see RingCentral appear in Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification.

You're welcome and correct. There's nothing for that yet, so we'll keep this as an open feature request.

I just know there a few iPhone users following this thread so wanted to share the update.
