Attach document for fax in the mobile app

I have an android phone and for some reason I can't use the mobile app for faxing. Whenever I need to fax something, there is no option for me to attach the document. The document tab is empty.

Selecting this icon will bring up another window which allows me to select either Documents, Photos, Dropbox, and Box. The issue, however, is when I select the Documents option. The selection always shows an empty folder with a message "Documents imported from email or other apps will be stored here. You will be able to use them for faxing."

I see.  This is a little confusing. Think of that Documents folder as a separate Documents folder from the one on the device.  Try this process. 

1. Go to the regular Documents folder on your device.
2. Select the file you wish to fax.
3. You'll get an "open with"option.  Choose "RingCentral". 

This will copy the file into the Mobile App Documents folder and can then be faxed.

RingCentral app is installed on my phone yet it's not suggested as an option from which to open documents

Hey Jacob, could you provide more details? Do you have an iPhone or Android? Which app are you using? Can you share some screen shots?
