I don’t have complete trust in screen sharing technology because like all technology, sometimes it glitches. GoToMeeting had an audience view functionality which provided reassurance the system hadn’t “glitched”, which wasn’t unheard of for them, and I wasn’t accidentally sharing my other screen with all of my notes.
I also didn’t think that my conversation with a RingCentral support rep would be turned into a community post using my full name. But hey, everything on the internet is in pen, so this one’s probably on me.
