FaxOut: Blank faxes

Occasionally when I send faxes, the recipient gets a blank sheet of paper and if there's an attachment, the cover sheet isn't there when I'm positive it was included.

Hello Marian,

How are you sending the faxes? Are you using the softphone, email faxing, fax machine connected to an ATA device, or through the fax out option from the website?

I am sending through the fax option from the website. It happens intermittently through my shift. I only send faxes to two numbers. It's not on the recipients' end because they aren't having this issue with anyone else.

I see.  Did you check your sent faxes to confirm they had the missing page?  If they look good in your sent box I would collect some examples with time stamp and number dialed and open a web case to submit them to RC support.

If they are showing up as blank through FaxOut, I'd suggest testing another fax option and see if it's duplicated. Possibly try faxing out through the email or Desktop App.

It seems this could easily be a problem on the recipient's fax machine.  Do you send faxes to a lot of different numbers and get this complaint from various recipients?

If you are using RC desktop app you can go to messages and see your sent faxes to confirm what you sent too.

Marian Reed, I have also found that there are blank pages when i use the blank cover letter that is provided by Ring Central.  Nothing at all shows up when i use it.

That is why i created by own.
