Is this possible to ad another option while attending a call announce but don't force me to press "1" to answer the call just connects me to my customer, because some times on my iPhone even I press 1 Ringcentral app doesn't connect me to my custommer and I miss the call, and it's also not safe to hold phone while I'm driving .
I requested this option two years back but so far no implementation on it.

Are you getting calls directly to your extension or are they calls coming in through a call queue?

Hi Dispatch Kan

You can control the "press 1" option using the settings below.   You can view the full help topic on this page if you need to: Direct Calls to a User's extension

FYI:  It's different for "call queues" though.  The full article will explain.

• For non-RingCentral phones only - You will not be prompted to press 1 to accept calls on your RingCentral mobile app, RingCentral desktop app, and RingCentral IP Phones.
• Always - You will be prompted to press 1 to accept calls on your non-RingCentral phones, and RingCentral IP Phones. You will not be prompted to press 1 to accept calls on your RingCentral mobile app and RingCentral desktop app.
• Never - You will not be prompted to press 1 to accept calls on any phones.

It's already setup for non Ringcentral phones only but I still forced to press 1 to answer.

Hello Khan,

The setting for non-RIngCentral phones means that the announcement will play anytime the phone call rings a phone that is not a device with a serial number on your account, or the RIngCentral applications.

Based on your description you are answering it on your iPhone which is a non-RingCentral phone. In this case, based on the fact that you have the "for non-RingCentral phones only" option selected, you will be prompted to press 1.

If you select the "Never" option it will not give you a press 1 prompt on your iPhone when you answer the call. The potential problems with this are: 1) if you do not answer the call on your cell phone the call may reach your cell phone voicemail rather than your RingCentral voicemail, and 2), when you answer a call from the RingCentral system it will not notify you it is coming from RingCentral. As soon as you swipe to answer the phone call, you will be connected to the call regardless of if the phone call is coming from RingCentral or straight to your cell phone as a personal call.

These are the 2 options, either you have the prompt and have to press 1, or you simply answer the call and are immediately connected to the call with no call announcement.

Thank You for your reply , but I submitted a feature request to integrate this option in the app announcement without prompt . What you explained me I knew about it already.
