Call Handling: bypass custom messages and ring directly when an internal extension calls?

Certain lines and numbers in our system are setup with customized messages for answering outside calls.

Can the system be programmed to bypass those messages and directly ring when an internal extension calls?

There's a huge amount of lag and uproar amongst users who are trying to call each other and have to listen to the messages every time.

Pressing pound may skip the message. It be worth testing

That allows access to the voicemail menu, from what I can figure out.  :-/

Hi Eric,   depending on how many external numbers you want to handle this way, setting up Advanced Rules might help.  Take a look at this thread and let us know if this helps. 

You can base your custom rule on the following conditions:  
a. Date and/or Time
b. Caller ID
c. Called Number

2 years later... still an issue. I want to have external callers hear a specific message vs internal callers hit a dial tone...
