Call Log doesn't show phone numbers of inbound callers without Name Display (Caller ID Name)... only City that called (twice!). RC Desktop

If an incoming call does not have a Name field associated with their caller ID (Name Display) but still displays the phone number only... after when checking the call log only the city the call came from is displayed (twice) and not the actual phone number that called. There are clearly two fields per call log entry, one for Name and one for City... but when there is no Name it should display the Phone Number that called.


This isn't rocket science. This is a basic function of any phone system call log, to be able to see the PHONE NUMBER that called, not what city called twice. The info is there, but you have to press the "i" icon to retrieve the missed phone number. Too many steps, and you can't see from the main call log screen at a glance the missed number. Are all the missed calls from the same company from Toronto? Or different companies? There is no way to tell without clicking the "i" next to EACH ONE! Happens with both Windows Desktop app and Outlook Plugin.

Have you contacted Support about this? My Call Log doesn't look like that but I'm also in the US and Caller ID works differently compared to Canada - which we don't have any influence on, unfortunately.

Did this get resolved for you? We are having the same issue, and in the app we can only see the city when someone is calling?

May I know where is the call coming from? Is it from the Call Queue or direct calls to an extension?

Direct to an extension. We already have a case number 10501459 but aside from getting an email every few days to see if it was fixed nothing has been done about it.

I have been, all I get a an email every few days asking if I am still having the issue to witch I reply and nothing more happens.  Very disappointing.
